Kelsey Smith - Haiti

What is one highlight from your experience on your venture?
“I helped put on a professional development conference for over 40 Haitian teachers! I got to present 2 sessions at the conference for special education teachers, and I loved it so much I am back in Haiti this summer doing the same thing!”

What do you want to remember about your experience?
“I want to always remember how many different people came together to support me. Friends from middle school who I hadn’t talked to in years, friends I had made volunteering in college, friends of my parents who had known me since I was a baby- so many people from so many parts of my life contributed and helped send me! It was so sweet to feel so supported by so many different amazing people.”

With each ring bought, my total amount raised slowly climbed up and soon enough I was fully funded for my trip! It was so neat to see each small purchase contribute together to send me to Haiti!
